Day 8 we headed to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota. The best part of this drive was going thru Custer State park. We saw animals everywhere! We had to stop the car for buffalo to cross the road, Prarie Dogs were playing in the fields, wild donkeys were in the road, and Prong Horn Antelope were along the roadside.
