We decided to keep taking the scenic route and we loved it. We both agree that what we saw today was some of the most beautiful country that we have ever seen. Cow land everywhere... we went to Carhenge in Alliance NE and it was really neat.. we met a man at a gas station and the next thing I knew, Pete was loading up with him to go look at an old truck. We saw some really strange fence posts, we went to the Mammoth Site in Hot Springs SD and we let Sammy play in a water-fall that was right outside our hotel. Tomorrow we head to Mount Rushmore. One of my favorite pics so far was the rest area one.. just sitting on the side of the road near a farm.
